Traffic-light stock screener
Know if a stock is cheap — at a glance
One traffic light gives you a clear verdict on 1,850+ stocks — buy candidate, watch or avoid — backed by fair value, a margin of safety and a DCF model. The kind of answer rival tools charge $120–1,350 a year for. The core is free, no card.

Valuing a stock is slow and confusing
- Tables full of ratios that never quite tell you if a stock is actually cheap.
- Fair value takes hours in a spreadsheet — for every single company.
- Risk is easy to miss: high debt, cash burn, accounting red flags.
OakBag does the maths for you
- One traffic light sums up valuation and company quality into a clear colour.
- Fair value and a margin of safety on every stock — automatically, every day.
- Red flags warn you about risk before you decide.
What OakBag shows on every stock
Four views you would otherwise assemble by hand — here in one place.
Traffic-light score
Green, orange or red sums up a company’s value, quality and risk in a single glance.
Fair value vs. price
Intrinsic value from DCF and peer multiples (P/E, P/B, EV/EBITDA), plus the margin of safety against the market price.
Growth-aware DCF
A two-stage FCFF model values fast-growing companies too — alongside the conservative figure.
Attention signal
Spots an unusual jump in social-media interest before it shows up in the price.

Frequently asked questions
Is OakBag investment advice?
No. OakBag is an educational and research tool. The scores are automated model outputs, not recommendations to buy or sell. Always do your own research.
How much does it cost?
The core — all 1,850+ stocks, the traffic light, fair value and risk flags — is free, just an email, no credit card. Pro adds a whole-portfolio watchlist with custom alerts, score history, CSV exports and advanced filters & compare, from $12/month (or $99/year); cancel anytime.
Why do I need an account to see the analyses?
The analyses are available after a free sign-up. It lets us sustain the service and later add personal features such as watchlists.
Where does the data come from?
From public third-party sources (e.g. Yahoo Finance, SEC EDGAR, ApeWisdom). Data may be delayed or inaccurate and is provided “as is”.
Can OakBag email me when something changes?
Yes — with Pro. Star the stocks you follow, then set portfolio-wide triggers: when a stock turns green, when its score rises or falls past a number of points you pick, or when retail attention spikes. OakBag checks regularly and sends a single digest email so you never miss a move (and never get spammed).
How is fair value calculated?
A blend of discounted cash flow (DCF) and peer market multiples, adjusted for quality and risk factors. That yields the margin of safety and the traffic-light colour.
Which stocks do you cover?
Currently over 1,850 mostly US stocks. We keep expanding the universe.
